Grants available to American guilds

The
Arts Business Institute introduces a new Guild Partner Grant program.
President Obama has made micro-manufacturing start-ups one of his
priorities for the next four years.

ABI has researched all of
the job training and entrepreneurship grants available through the
government and is now prepared to assist your local guild or arts
organization in creating an “Access to Market” program for guild
members.

The program includes a 2 day workshop, private
one-on-one critiques and production advice, matching funds for guild
booth exhibits at the Buyers Market. Grants up to $50,000 for a 2 year
program.

Help create a strong voice for Canadian arts and culture in Ottawa!

Alain Pineau, National Director of the Canadian Conference of the Arts (CCA) is making a stop in Saskatoon and Regina as part of a national tour.
The Canadian cultural sector is facing considerable changes in its operating environment. One of those is an increasingly clear change in the way the federal government sees its role regarding arts and culture. Now more than ever before, there is a need for greater cohesion in the arts, culture and heritage sector. This is the message Alain is bringing to all of us.
