Deadline to enter – October 21st.
December 1, 2009 – January 31, 2010

As an amalgamation of surface, color, texture, and mass, clay in its fired state is potentially one of the richest art mediums. This exhibition will show why artists working in clay are celebrated for the innovative ways in which they take advantage of the sculptural and painterly opportunities ceramics offer to create varied and distinctive new vessels.

This juried exhibition will explore the breadth of contemporary ceramic pots and vessels as utilitarian and aesthetic objects, revealing the ever-developing synergy of clay, glaze, and heat.
