2015 JUROR Wayne Higby
Wayne Higby is known for his inventive use of Raku earthenware, and
his many contributions to ceramic education. The American Craft Museum
considers him a “visionary of the American Crafts Movement” and
recognized him as one of seven artists who are “genuine living legends
representing the best of American artists in their chosen medium.”

Art, Tokyo. He is a professor and the Robert C. Turner Chair of Ceramic
Art at the New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred University

emerging artist: Trine Birgette Bond
Trine is a danish ceramist, who works with glaze experiments. She says; “When i
walk in nature i find inspiration; moss on rocks, sea and snowflake, old
paint in many layer, rust and so on. I try too transfer my impression
from nature, too my work.”
