   Congratulations it looks incredible. The display cabinets compliment the work so well. It is always important to get that right. Often the work is great and the gallery space and display stands don’t do the work justice. We have had lots of discussion round this topic here in South Africa. You got it right. One other thing, I am always conscious of the fact that ceramics is so fragile and even though the glass domes enhances the expressive function of your work, it also address the fragility aspect of it. This is good news for the consumer – it provides protection for the piece in the home – dust etc. Hope you sell well.

   This is fascinating.
   I’d been taught that left-aligned labels are preferred, to support the prototypical F-shaped eye-tracking heatmap of web browsing. The idea is that it supports easy vertical scanning.

   thank you guys so much! it was a fun show to pull together and set up. I'm glad to hear your comments Eugene on the domes. I go back and forth on whether or not to use them (partially because it adds to my stress levels when shipping work, like fragile ceramics wasn't enough i had to add glass!!) But i really like how they add a layer to the work conceptually; referencing our domestic spheres, fragility and containment. I like that the figures are even more "trapped" in their little worlds, same as we get stuck in our lives and the systems that exist (government and otherwise) that control how we can live.
