Job opening: Executive Director
• Age 35-65 years old

Salary:
• Annual salary 250,000-300,000 RMB

Qualification:
Good health, team spirit, oversea working experience related to art in education, organization activities. Mastering English and Chinese is essential. Additional languages are an asset, requires excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Benefit:

Duties:
1. Responsible for the operation, management and daily international exchange activities of Jingdezhen Taoxichuan JAEA International Art Center, Jingdezhen International Studio and Taoxichuan Education Center.

2. Responsible for the annual invitation of the studio guest artists, the implementation of the resident’s creation plan, the duration of the artist’s solo exhibition, group and joint exhibition, and the sales of works.

3. Responsible for international cultural and educational projects, promote exchanges and cooperation between international art center and institutions and meet the expected goals of Taoxichuan.

4. Managing International Projects assigned by the Artistic Director

5. Advising the art gallery, museum and the economic development of Taoxichuan.

Part Time Position
 
JamFactory is seeking an inspiring Creative Director to lead our Ceramics Studio.
 
The successful applicant will provide training and mentorship for
studio associates and effective management of the studio’s business
operations.
 
The position requires an excellent knowledge of contemporary ceramics, particularly within the area of studio production, as well as an established reputation in the field.
 
Applicants should have well developed craft, design and communication
skills and relevant studio, organisational and budget management
experience.
 
The role is part time (approx four days per week) and includes access to studio space and facilities outside of these hours.
